Etsy Foraging Friday: Shameless Self Promotion Edition

So I always have jewelry hanging aimlessly around my studio, loitering, looking for a job and a new home.  Old samples, things I made for craft shows, but that aren't in my wholesale line, things like that.  So I thought I would set up a kind of virtual sample sale shop that can be running all year, so that budget conscious consumers can have access to these unique pieces.  I'll be updating it periodically, when I get free windows of time in my day.  And when I do, I will post update notices on the Rebecca Haas Jewelry Facebook page, so if you would like to get these updates, head over there and "like" the page.
Go ahead and click on the image above to head over and check out the new sample sale shop!

Etsy Foraging Friday: Groundwork and Family

I am so glad to have stumbled across this beautiful shop the other day, and I totally fell in love with Danna Ray's charming limited edition prints.
To see more of Dana's work go to her shop here.  And she apparently comes from a very talented family!  Check out her sister's work here (and below, love this Action Mole with Mint Slippers) and her mom's shop here (and below, love the eco friendly beach pogo!)Happy friday, and have a great 4th of July weekend everyone!

Etsy Foraging Friday - House Hunter's Edition

Here is a collection of house themed art and decor.  There is just something so comforting about the little square house with a little peaked roof, with the little doors and windows.  But I think these examples have really taken the motif to the next level.  And their shops are, of course, filled with lots more lovelies.  Here's where to find the corresponding shops for each image:
1. "My Village" by Syko
2. "Floating City" by Sometimes I Swirl
3. "Paper House Mobile" by CreatorB
4. "Folk Miniature Wood Town" by Says The Tree
5. "Shelf City With Church" by The Oak Leaves
6. "Canal Houses" by Laura Amiss

Etsy Foraging Friday - Critter Edition

Etsy is full of creative makers re-envisioning the wheel, and the plush toy section is no exception.  I love  the amount of personality imbued in all of these little characters.

Here's where to find them:

2. Hand painted rocks by Artist in the Arctic
3. Life size candy mushrooms by Andie's Specialty Sweets

Etsy Foraging Friday - Twist Fair Edition!

Well, I am all packed up and ready for Twist Fair in Northampton, MA this weekend.  It is my first craft fair in ages (ever?), I'm really looking forward to it, and it starts tonight!  And I have separate booths for both Fiddleheads and Rebecca Haas Jewelry, so I have been very busy working on display for two booths, and merchandise for two booths, and packaging for two booths. . .  you get the picture.  But I am really looking forward to hanging out with some customers in person for a change, and getting people's direct feedback, especially on the Fiddleheads work since it is the first time I am taking it out.  So I thought I would commemorate this day by highlighting some other Etsy sellers who will also be showing at Twist Fair this weekend.  If you are nearby either Friday evening or Saturday anytime please come by!  Click here for details about the show.
Click on the following links to find more information about the corresponding artist:
1. Destiny's Creations (top photo)
2. Murdock Design
3. Taylor Ceramics
4. Edison Rex
5. Abby Berkson Ceramics (bottom photo)  Of course I am a little partial to this sweet cup because it says Fiona!
