Emmett's First Meal

We started Emmett on rice cereal last night paired with a nice, bright '07 Grenache Blanc. Just kidding. It was an '08 Vermentino, Grenache Blanc would've never worked...

He seemed to be a natural at eating and knew exactly where the food was. Check out the footage below!

Winter Hat

We were recently in Brooklyn and went out for a walk in Prospect Park. It was a little cold so Emmett needed to wear a hat.  As you can see he doesn't care for hats or the sun all that much. So displeased.

Jeezum Snow

My. What was supposed to be a decent snowing of  8 - 10 inches became a walloping 2 feet of wet, wet snow. The hats on these floodlights are good example of how wet.

It only took a couple of hours for the power to go out. Thankfully a propane fueled generator has been keeping the lights and the intertubes on for the last 2 days.  We've had actual power for 8 of the last 48 hours.
