Another favorite stack that went out right before Christmas. A family of sibling bought them for their mom as Mother Rings. Have you all heard of this new Mother Ring thing? Or is it maybe not new and I've been living under a rock (or in Vermont)? This stack is 2 Double Wrap Rings in sterling and 3 Pinstripe Rings in 14k.

Are you all back at work yet, on this Monday after Christmas? Or are you stretching out the time off as long as possible, like I am? In fact I didn't even realize it was Monday until I looked at the calendar. But I see the work out there on the horizon, and in a couple of days I'll have to get back at the to do list. Like listing these new necklaces, and getting organized for the new year. But not quite yet. Not today. Today I think I'll go take a nap.

Merry Christmas Eve! I'm hoping to make some Christmas cookies today with my boys, in the hopes of distracting them from the tempting pile of presents under the tree. Does anyone have a favorite recipe for cookies that you can cut out with cookie cutters and decorate? As you can probably tell, I don't bake much! I hope you all get a minute to snuggle a loved one today, no matter what kind of activities your day has in store.

The studio is now officially shut down for Christmas! Thank you all so much for your support this holiday season! I love giving gifts, and so being a part of some of your holiday gift giving is a gift to me as well. So thank you again! I'll be back in the studio in a part time way between Christmas and New Years, so orders will begin shipping out again at that point. Now on to the sitting by the fire, drinking hot chocolate, and wrapping presents portion of the event!!

Sometimes orders come with the most amazing stories. This Sunrise Ring is being given by a friend to a friend. The friend told her that during a time of sadness and loss, watching the sun rise each new day helped her find some brightness in a dark time. I don't know these people, I've never even met them. But I'm glad to know this story, and to be a part of it in some small way. Sometimes the meaning behind a small thing can just about break your heart. Or maybe mend it.

It's a big shipping day in the studio today! It's crunch time, but I had to stop for a minute to take a photo of all of the finished pieces lined up on the edge of my work table. Now that corner is empty again, and all those pieces are packed up and heading to the post office. 🛫🎄✔ And now I'm getting back to work to make another round of jewelry to ship out tomorrow.

It's 7:30, the wood stove is cranking, both my kids are out the door to school, and I'm headed directly down the hall to my studio to get the most out of this day. I might even still be in my pjs. Yeah, I am in my pjs. It's that kind of day, and it feels pretty great. Quiet house. Hot coffee. Snowy landscape. It's gonna be a good day, I can feel it.

So in bad news, something went sideways with my website and all of my categories got erased, so I spent a good chunk of last night rebuilding them all from scratch. 😖 But in good news, I had a chance to rethink them, and there are now some fun new ways to browse my website! One new category is Gift Ideas Under $75, where these delicate and understated new Seer Earrings live. I'm not quite finished getting everything into it's right group, but will have it finished up by the end of the day. Ho ho ho! 'Tis the season for website glitches! ☃️
