I made this special Phoebe Bracelet with pink for a collection headed to @quirk_gallery, since bright pink is kind of their thing. Just added new photos (including this one) of the Elizabeth Necklace to the listing on my web site. I've always loved the gentle asymmetry of this piece, but for some reason it is tricky to photograph. Also, it looks like a lariat, but all of the elements are actually fixed in place and there is a standard clasp in the back, so you don't have to worry about it falling off. I love the look of lariats, but they can be mechanically tricky, right? Do any of you have a lariat that you love that you'd consider secure?
This is the jewelers equivalent of a lot of irons in the fire. See all those boxes up there on my speaker? Those are all my current wholesale orders that I am chipping away at, little by little. I'm always at my most productive when I have lots going on. I'm a deadline girl. And that's my little avocado tree that I started growing from a seed last summer. Sorry to do this to you guys, but I'm going to have to go ahead and brag for a minute. Check out my little bracelet display mountain that just came in the mail from @smallwildshop! It's doing an excellent job here holding up a Mountain Cuff and a Whale Tail Bracelet. It is just the cutest. I kind of want to keep adding little tiny props around it, like a little River and some teeny tiny trees! Thanks Danielle, it's perfect.

It is the time of year here where everything smells amazing. The Lilies of the Valley, Narcissus, and Lilacs are all blooming, and you catch wafts of them all on the breezes. My expected plan for the day got called off, and so I am reveling in a quiet afternoon with no schedule. #sunday #theartofslowliving

I spent the morning with my little farm animal enthusiast at the Billings Farm Museum in Woodstock, VT. Today is one of those amazing Vermont days, in the low 70's, breezy and so so green. I'm back in the studio now to finish up the week's work, and having a little trouble getting down to business. Today is a day begging for swinging in a hammock. . .

Can't. . . seem. . . to stop. . . making new rings. These Tiny Orbit Bands are each 1mm wide and will come in sets of either 5 or 10 (as seen here). I love the way these super delicate bands pile up into a big sparkly statement. Will be listed tomorrow. And I'm thinking they would also be pretty cool with one tiny 14k band as an accent. . .

Brainstorming more fixed ear wire designs like these Dart Earrings as I fill orders in the studio today. I love the sculptural quality of this type of earring, although you do lose a little bit of movement compared to attached French wires. What do you all think of fixed wire earrings? Pro? Anti? Ambivalent?

Taking a minute to put my feet up at the end of this surprisingly productive weekend. We decided to let the kids watch Netflix until their eyes popped out so that we could clean out all our closets and our storage room. I put away my winter clothes (for the first time maybe ever) and we brought a whole car load of donations to the family center. The visible part of our house is still a mess, and needs a vacuuming, but I FEEL better about it all. You guys, I now actually know what is at the back of my closet. (It's spare wine glasses, btw, which I guess is weird, but I know where they are!) #springcleaning #betterlatethannever

I almost always listen to music or NPR in my studio while I work. But this morning, with the windows open, I left the radio off to listen to the birds. So many more seem to be coming back every day, and the sweet sounds outside are such a welcome change from the cold quiet of winter. Good morning everyone! I'd love your opinion on something. So the Winter Leaf Hoops have always looked more like the shape they are in the bottom of the picture. But yesterday I made the pair on the top, and I think I like the round and full shape a little more. So here are my questions. a) do you agree? b) are they different enough that I should change the photos in the listing? re. If you ordered the bottom and got the top would you be upset? I love the Icicle Necklace, but I've never been very happy with the pictures of it that I've had up online.
