I'm working on a Primer Necklace in the studio today for @edgewatergalleryvt which has made me remember how much I love this piece. Which then made me think, huh, I wonder why no one ever orders it? so I looked on my website and realized it wasn't on there. (Hand slaps forehead) It is now though! It's my birthday!! 🎉I woke up this morning feeling very lucky and grateful for all of the extremely wonderful people that I have in my life right now. And that includes YOU guys out there. It is raining and dreary up here, and tomorrow I am turning 39, which might slightly be adding to the dreariness. Not sure, I actually haven't had time to give it much thought until right now. How do you all feel about birthdays? Dread or enjoy? And do you have a favorite age? I've actually really enjoyed my 30s, although as my husband says I have one more "victory lap" year to go before the big four-oh. 😱 • A few customers have inquired about how the Decibel Earrings look on. One of the things I love most about metalsmithing is the way this morning's sketch can become this afternoon's finished piece. As anyone who's ever tried their hand at ceramics can tell you, there are a lot of mediums where this is not the case. This piece is a little time consuming to make, so I'm not sure what I'm going to end up doing with it, but it's fun! #landscape #drawingwithmetal
