Happy Friday! Whew, it was a busy week around here. Lots of new work went out to shops and galleries this week, including this collection headed for the @leagueofnhcraftsmen_littleton in Littleton, NH. The first batch of Spread the Love bracelets are starting to go out. Together we have raised about $200 each for the ACLU, Emily's List, and the Union of Concerned Scientists. You guys rock. As a working artist with a young family I don't have a lot of extra money to donate to charity, so doing this together with you all is really helping me take a little power back to make positive change and support important causes. My retailers are stocking up for Valentine's Day, and also keep an eye out for new hearty listings on my website. Love this pic of the back of the new double wrapped Mystic Necklace. The clasp of this multi ellipse chain can be fastened on any of the ellipses, making the length totally adjustable, whether worn long or wrapped twice for a layered look. And when it's hooked on the second or third ellipse it creates a pretty silver trail down between your shoulder blades. 💙

The scenery is incredible around here today. Winter isn't really my season, but the beauty of the day after a snowstorm, as the clouds are clearing, is hard to beat. I took a detour on my way home from dropping Ellery off at preschool, filled with vistas of distant snowy mountains. It almost wiped away the stress of this morning's 25 minute tantrum about getting dressed. Almost.

Excited to share a couple more new designs with you! The Tea Leaves Necklace is the shorter one, and is super cute and understated. A little bit of barely there elegance. Big things are happening here and it's so exciting! I spent the day clearing out the room that is going to be my new office! We are shuffling things around in our barn, which is our big old live/work space here in Vermont. So today I had to clear everything up off the floor and throw away a lot of old studio junk so that new floors can go in next weekend. It's all happening, and it's so exciting! Also, how satisfying is it to clear out that junk area you've been trying to ignore, but has actually been driving you really crazy? Such a good January project!

I'm back in the studio, digging out from the ice storm, the holiday break, and the sick days. It feels good to start getting caught up, and begin making plans and goals for the new year! Part of what I'm doing in the next couple of weeks is making a target list for a few new retailers. This pic: my sister in law is visiting and brought all her old Rebecca Haas Jewelry for a cleaning. It's like the ghost of jewelry past, and so fun to see some older styles again! • Also, every year, right after Christmas I always get stupid sick. The adrenaline fueled stress of the lead up to the holidays drops off, and I just fall prey to whatever cocktail of germs is lying around. And this year is no different.
