    this looks lovely! What hotel are you staying in? I am looking for a trip to take my niece on. She loves skiing and is graduating. Is the area teenager friendly?

    I think Zermatt would be a really fun place for a teenager! The European ski culture is so different from the American one that I think it would just be fascinating. Another great feature for a teenager is since there are no cars and everyone walks everywhere getting around independently would be so easy. We stayed in a rental Chalet because I was there with a big group. But there are tons of hotels everywhere. It's a bit of a trek to get there from the states because you need to take a 3+ hour train from the Zurich airport, but it is worth it! It is really a magical place!
