In honor of the release, at long last of the next book in the Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin, I am posting these pictures I took in France that reminded me immediately of the ruins of Winterfell. After patiently (not so patiently) waiting for five years, I am so happy to finally have this new book to sink my teeth into. So if you don't hear from me for a while, don't be alarmed, I have fallen into a Dance With Dragons, and I can't get up.
I know I am totally exposing my nerdiness here, but, well, you were going to find out eventually anyway. And to those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sorry! They are really great books though, go buy the first one, and please don't hate me too much after loosing a year of your life reading obsessively!
Oh, and for those of you who care about reality, these pictures were really taken in a town called Baume-de-Transit. :)

I had a game of thrones marathon last week and watched all ten episodes:)
ReplyDeletei.e. I am a nerd too:)
ReplyDeleteWow, that sounds awesome. And definitely the luxury of someone without a kid! Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, did you say "ruins" of Winterfell? Is this like when I went to amazon to buy book 2 before I was finished with book 1 and saw a customer review that totally gave away the VERY important death at the end of book one, thereby ruining it for me?
ReplyDeleteIf so, THANKS. ;)
Um, Cassie, I have no idea what you are talking about. :0
