This is it folks. Today was the last day of making for my #350piecechallenge. I have reached the slightly manic (read totally insane) part of #Sunapee prep, when I keep thinking of things I haven't made and trying to squeeze them into the production line. So I spent the whole day busy at my bench and ran out of time for counting. Question. I made this new necklace in 14k for my next show and it made me start to wonder. Do you wish there were more more solid 14k options on my website? (As opposed to just mostly gold-filled?) Check out this new style suggested by one of my clever customers! Chelsea said that this necklace version of my Bay Bracelet came to her when she was driving in her car yesterday morning. (I also obviously completely love that she was daydreaming about jewelry while on her way to work 💕) So she wrote me to ask if I would make it for her. What is y'alls favorite thing to do to de-stress? I feel like I've been running on adrenaline from trying to keep on top of all of my responsibilities between my work life and my family life for weeks now, and I need a good way to take it down a notch. And you guys always have great suggestions about this kind of thing, so I'd love to hear how you cope with stress. So far I've made a list of things to do that I've been ignoring, like returning library books, doing the volunteer work I signed up for, and getting a little exercise. What a great day! The collab with @thisisovercoats is officially available online, and soon to be available at their shows when their next tour begins in September. Couldn't be more psyched to be working with these authentic, inspiring, talented, and generally bad ass women. Also, my work is featured in @sevendaysvt (link in profile) today for being part of tomorrow's Artist as Designer event in Waterbury. I am alone. And I'm just realizing that it is the first time I've been actually alone in weeks. The kids are at camp. The extra nephews that are staying with us this week, also at camp. And my husband, who also works from home, is out on a long errand. And my assistant is on an errand. It's glorious. I generally don't need a lot of alone time, but how I'm feeling right now makes me think I need more than I've been getting. What about you? Do you need alone time to recharge?
