Introducing the Harvey Bracelet. 50% of the proceeds from this design will be donated indefinitely to Save the Children to assist in their efforts to provide safety, shelter, and comfort to the littlest survivors of this horrible storm. This will be an ongoing fundraiser, just as it will be an ongoing recovery for the families of Houston and the surrounding areas. I don't know if you have seen the images of kids tucked up on kitchen counters clutching their favorite stuffed animal as the waters rise around them. It's just heart wrenching. Anybody have any recommendations for favorite spots in Cincinnati? We are spending a long weekend driving to the middle of the country to see family (and then back, of course!) We are on hour 13 in the car over the past 2 days. We've had sushi, made the children run on the treadmills in the hotel gym, visited Niagra Falls, and found an awesome lunch spot in a town in Ohio I'd never heard of. No one in the car is screaming yet, (win) but I think it might be coming soon. I told my husband that after the fair I was thinking about stopping into the used bike shop and buying a bike to cruise around on, and he said "It's so nice to hear you talking about the future again!" I guess I've been a little obsessed with the Sunapee fair recently . . . 🤔But today is the last day, so the obsessing is over until next summer! Thank you all so so much for coming to the fair, I am overwhelmed. And for those of you far and wide for not unfollowing me and bearing with all of these fair posts!! My fave mug in honor of #mugshotmonday (Why do potters have all the best hashtags?) One of the things I love most about the Sunapee fair is getting a chance to catch up with my fellow @leagueofnhcraftsmen maker friends, and also (obviously) increase my mug collection. Ok, so truthfully it has a little been a little bit hard to keep track, with wholesale and web orders going out every day, but I think my total number of pieces made in July came in right around 410. 😳 I'm really very tired. It has been a crazy month, and my studio is totally trashed, but I just enjoyed a very nice glass of wine and dinner with my family, and am feeling pretty good about it all.
